User 2: This is simply the best Honeycomb 3.2 tablet so far and for that I give it a five star rating. Here are my personal observations based on usage (First the pros)…
*Remote access to your pc is a very good feature. This means that you can access your pc or mac and control it remotely.
*Has the same screen as the iPad 2. As you know, it’s simply amazing.
*It doesn’t weigh much for its size.
*It gives you the best of tablet and netbook functions all in one — Take from someone who also owns an iPhone 4.
*It has native email and allows you to sync your calendar and contacts easily.
*Multasking is made easy on this tab — You’ll have no issue whatsoever doing so with this device.
*File manager makes it easy for you to transfer files from you desktop or any other system to the Transformer.
*Asus Launcher is wide enough to accomodate quite a lot of widgets.
*You get as much as 16 hours of battery life if you get to use the tablet + docking.

Now that we have taken a look at the pros of the Transformer TF101-A1 10.1-Inch Tablet Computer, here are the cons…
*It catches fingerpints easily but that’s a problem with all tablets and NOT just this one.
*The charger’s cord is quite shot. You’d need an outlet close to plug it in and still be able to use it at your desk.
*Average camera. However, this is obviously NOT a major issue as it can handle everyday pics while my dedicated camera handles important events.
The more I use it, the more I get attached to it. I don’t get to (or need to) use my desktop and smartphone (an iPhone 4) as much again. I am enjoying this tab so much while anticipating the major updates that are still coming to make a great product even better.
How much do I like the Transformer TF101-A1? Well, I love this tab so much that if anything were to happen to this one I’d rush out to get another wherever I can get one. This is a great product — Period!

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer
User 4: This simply an awesome product. Any other adjective would be an understatement. Take note of the fact that I have owned an Android device for quite a while and have also owned an iPad before this tablet. So my review is from the perspective of someone who has some measure of experiential knowledge in this kinds of devices.
Compared to the iOs, you don’t have to deal with a lot of useless icons. You also get useful notifications, quick app access (that gives you feeling that you are running from a desktop) and the navigational advantages of a tablet.
For those of us who use a lot of Google service, Honeycomb is such a blessing. All it takes is just one account set up and you’d have all you Google services synced. If you compare it with the restrictiveness of iTunes, this is a very welcome change.
It also charges very fast. It takes about just a third of the time an iPad requires to go from 0% to 100% charge.
On the cons side, the camera is so-so. But that’s about the only major issue I have with it. Other issues are too insignificant to be mentioned in a review because they are too subjective to be considered real demerits.
Now my take on this tablet: If you compare this to the cheapest iPad, it’s still about a $100 cheaper. But if you look at what it does and the freedom it gives you, it’s simply awesome. I have used mine for a while now and it’s certain a much more productive device than my iPad. Please, take note that I am NOT anti-Apple or pro-any-platform for that matter. I use them all (iOS, OS X,Android, and Windows 7) as each of them have their strengths and limitations. For tablets, I consider this tablet to be the most useful — From a productive point of view.

Leather Case for Asus Pad - Standing
User 1: I bought this case because it was the best option I found out there that could handle both the tab and keyboard dock. It’s certainly NOT everything I want it to be but it’s definitely the best of what I want out there.
The tablet doesn’t really fit into place as snugly as I’d like. However, with use, I found out that it gets to fit better as the material stretches somewhat to give a better fit. The combo of the tablet and keyboard dock fit in a lot better. The straps go further to help your confidence that your devices are protected. However, I have a problem with the design here: You can’t have both tablet and keyboard dock in this case without docking. Believe it or NOT, there are times you just want both of them separated but still well protected (I ended up finding a way around this even if it isn’t the best of ways).
This case allows you to prop up the tablet and use it without holding it. However, it doesn’t look solid enough to inspire confidence. It looks like it will fall very easily. Therefore, I use this feature as sparingly as possible.
The material used for this case is good — both for the interior and exterior. It doesn’t feel cheap in any way even though you know very well it’s synthetic.
So what’s my final position on this leather case? I’d say it’s good enough for anyone who wants a case that can handle both tab and keyboard dock together. However, I think a better and a more confidence-giving design is needed. Until we are able to find such, we are stuck with this.
User 2: I have been on the look out for a case that can handle both tab and keyboard dock for the Transformer for a while and this is still the best solution I have found. Here are things I like about it…
*A professional look thanks to the leather feel and cross pattern.
*Cover that folds into a display stand.
*Has enough tough edges to protect the device in case of a drop.
*It makes provision for easy access to all the necessary ports and features.
*It is affordable.

User 3: This is definitely a nice case. But unlike the name or title suggests, it isn’t made of leather — It’s something synthetic. Therefore, if you want real leather, look elsewhere. However, if you don’t really mind another material, then you can take a look further…
It looks waterproof even though I have NOT been daft enough to try it out. If you are someone who likes detailed instructions on how to get the most out of any product you buy, you won’t get any at all. So you’d have to figure everything out yourself. I believe a lot of complaints could have been spared if the makers had added some instructions. It took a while for me to find out bits and pieces that actually make it work more effectively.
Another issue I have is the way the camera/light sensor opening was cut. It really looks like an afterthought. It was NOT done too nicely in my opinion. However, for what I need to use this case for, it serves well. It’s a good thing it also comes at a great price so I really can’t complain.

Black Case Compatible with Asus Pad -- Standing
User 1: I wanted something of superior quality that at least looked like it was made of leather (Even if it wasn’t). I’d have to say that this one meets my standards: It is very beautiful and comes in a black leather-like material. It has a tough material inside that secures the tablet. For the price and the quality it delivers, this is definitely a very good purchase. I recommend it.
User 2: I spent quite some time looking at various reviews before buying this one since it stood out as the best value for price. It closes well like a book thanks to the little magnets that are well-positioned in the corners. This has changed the way I now carry my tab around. Before buying it, I was always afraid I would drop it or mess up the screen with fingerprints.
Do you want to read or browse while eating? No problem. All you have to do is open the flap and it angles well for you to do your stuff without any risk to your tab.

Some people complain about the camera hole being too small but all you have to do to take care of this is just push the tab up so it aligngs perfectly with the hole. For me, this is as near-perfect as it can and I am happy with it.
User 3: This gets a five star rating. The tab fits snugly inside it. It’s so well-fitted that the tab can barely move inside. This is a very professional-looking case. It is surely built to last. You’ll have NO doubt that your device is fully protected inside it once you feel it. However, as with any case, it might get freer inside with use meaning that your device might move more freely and then your camera might be obscured from time to time when it does shift. But that shouldn’t be a problem as it’s certainly NOT difficult to fix.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer Mobile Docking -- Overview
User 1: I give this a five star rating. What a great way to turn your tab into a netbook with ease. For those who really have issues with tiny keypads, this one is just slightly smaller than standard keyboard. If you need more disk space or memory, there is room for you to as you have 2 usb ports that and a slot for an SDXC card.
This is definitely a very useful accessory if you need more battery life (It adds up to 7 hours more of battery life. It is also useful if you need to have your screen held upright for you. It is just more than a keyboard addition, in my opinion, it was meant to add a netbook feel to what’s already a great product — the tablet.
Here are other things I find interesting about the keyboard docking station: It is built solidly and won’t wear out easily. It types great. More importantly, it would be compatible with future transformer tablets. Since it’s built solid, you can see that you have an accessory that will stay useful even if you have to get the latest transformer.
Now to a few issues…
For those who might have read about issues with the keyboard, Asus released a firmware that took care of that. So if you manage to pick one that has this issue all you have to do is update and that problem would be solved. There is one thing, though, I would have liked as a feature: I would have like a meter for the battery (It doesn’t have one). However, there are widgets that take care of that so it’s NOT really a big concern.
This is a product I recommend with all my heart considering that it NOT only works great today but is designed to remain relevant even when newer models of the tab are released.

User 2: This is a very useful accessory but you need to take note of one thing: The keyboard’s battery works all the time it is attached to the transformer irrespective of whether or NOT your tablet is fully charged or in standby mode. This is a very serious issue but Asus claims that they are working on a fix that allows you to disable this. The other problem I have heard of is that you have to RMA it if you allow the keyboard batter to stay at zero for too long (I really couldn’t check this out myself as I returned mine).
Take note that this is NOT the case with all transformer pads but limited only to the B50′s and some of the B60′s.
But is it a great product? Yes, it is if you have a way around this or get any other serial number apart from these problematic ones. If you are used to Asus netbooks then you’ll love the size and feel of this mobile docking. That’s why I went for it in the first place.
User 3: I give this keyboard dock a five star rating. It effective turns your tablet into a netbook. It’s also a good thing that adding the dock doesn’t disable the touchscreen — You can still use it with the docking station. You will see that the keys are specially optimized for those of us who use the Android OS and they really do make things a lot easier.
There are dedicated keys for a lot of the functions that you’d need always: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and so on. The other good thing about this keyboard is that it’s just 8% smaller than standard keyboards. However, make sure you don’t go hard as you type in keys as they can be very responsive.
Asus Transformer Mobile Docking With Tablet
You have 2 usb ports and you can access them through a flap that you have to pull out. They work quite well. If you intend to use a bluetooth mouse, no problem. It recognizes it easily. Add to this that you also have an SD card slot and you will agree with me that this is a very productive device that gives you a lot of options for work and play — Much unlike the iPad which ties you up and restricts you to iTunes and their stuff.
While I like all the things I have pointed out so far, the two that stand tallest in my opinion are the battery life and the way it is designed: It gives you an extra 7 hours or so giving you a total of as much as 16 hours in conjuction with the tablet. The good thing about the design is that your tab stays fully charged until the keyboard battery gets depleted.
So is everything perfect with this mobile docking keyboard? Definitely NOT in my opinion: Some folks might consider the keyboard small (Especially those with fat fingers). Some might consider it a little too heavy. The absence of an Alt key on the left side like we are all used to and the fact that you can easily disable wi-fi inadvertently if you do 2 finger scrolling.
But all in all, I consider this to be a very useful accessory and recommend it.

User 1: To say the truth, this isn’t by any way perfect as it is quite hard to line up perfectly (But isn’t difficult to apply). My first attempt wasn’t so good but the second was much better. The problem is that I still couldn’t find a way of removing the edge bubble at one end. But that said, it’s NOT something I can’t live with. My real comfort is the fact that this has been priced well. The pack of two is cheaper than what you pay for single packs with most brands. So when I look at the price-to-value ratio, I consider it worth it.
It works well since it doesn’t interfere with the touchscreen and is also very clear. If you want a much better fit, though, the wet application protections may be what you are looking for. However, for most of us, this would just do all right.
User 2: This, for me, gets a five star rating for the following reasons: It’s very easy to apply. The alignment is just the way it should be. I also love the fact that it is so clear that I can’t even tell I have a protector over my touchscreen. The only give-away is that you’d notice that suddenly your screen catches as much fingerprints (The protector catches far less fingerprints).
This is a great product and I think those who have had difficulty fitting theirs have NOT paid close attention to the instructions. I did and had no problems whatsoever beyond the fact that I couldn’t eliminate some tiny air bubbles. I decided NOT to bother myself with those and, just as someone had pointed out while I was researching this product, the bubbles disappeared by themselves within 24 hours. I’ll advise you to do the same if you can’t get all the tiny bubbles out even after following the application instruction faithfully.
User 3: If you are looking for a great screen protector for your Asus EEE Pad, then you’ve got it in this one. It’s designed to fit perfectly. The camera holes and all else where well catered for. It’s also very easy to install. I am using a screen protector like this for the very first time and it took me just five minutes to get it right. I am happy with my purchase. If I need to buy another protector, I already know which one it is: This one.
